This is a revised version of this lesson. Written for a sub, it may also be taught by classroom teachers, art teachers, and homeschool teachers. Works great in Google Meet, Zoom, or something similar. You can email it right from home if you need to! You can also use this for distance learning. pdf lesson plan can be printed out and handed to a substitute teacher. This activity is perfect to leave for short or long term absences and for maternity leave. This 20 page lesson was meant to be presented and completed in one 55 minute class, though some teachers prefer to extend it. There is a word search puzzle for those early finishers AND two bonus writing prompts for extending the lesson. The drawing part of the lesson uses the most basic supplies: pencil, crayons or markers, and paper. All the sub has to do is read the slides or pages and follow the directions. It may be presented as a projected Powerpoint or a printed out. In this activity, students use their imaginations to create a drawing of a silly sandwich.
